So this year I was lucky enough to be invited to be part of Sweet Expo to do shows in Sydney and Melbourne
Sweet Expo expo is organized by Lisa Brown from Sweet Magazine
Her dream was to host an event that brought the pages of Sweet Magazine to life - a festival of fun and food, with local musicians playing live music, balloons and a lot of colour, everything from fudge to chocolate to ice cream filled waffle cones and fairy floss.
With local shops selling a huge range of products including sprinkles, cake decorating supplies, baking equipment and a whole host of other fun things to see and do.
And so she and her team did it!!!!
It is an amazing experience with over 20,000 people visiting the show in Sydney and another 20,000 in Melbourne.
I did two demos everyday + a half day class
In Melbourne was Unicorn cupcakes and in Sydney The Anna Geddes cake with Baby
Demos include the revamping shoe to create sweet art and how to gravity defying cakes.
As an artist there is not a better place to be.... on the stage talking with thousands and thousands of people and sharing my passion for cake art.
So I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Lisa Brown and her team for the incredible opportunity and to all sweet audience and students that participate on my classes and demos. see you next year.
Demonstrating how to create an illusion to Gravity Defying to take your cake to the next level.
